Datadog

My journey at Datadog began in New York. I initially joined as a Product manager intern on the Applications Performance Monitoring (APM) Team. I was tasked with creating an "APM Bible," a document that would serve as the one-stop shop for wondering how Users use the APM and some of their common workflows. I was then tasked with using this information to pitch a feature that would enhance the user journey. I focused on improving the UI for the service page and creating an intuitive user experience that allowed customers to monitor the health and performance of their microservices effectively. This early work laid the foundation for my deep understanding of the criticality of clear, actionable insights in application performance management.

I returned to a full-time position within the Synthetic Monitoring Team. Here's a fun fact: The whole story was based in Paris! Here, I spearheaded the development of multi-step tests that relied on "tokens" to pass the result of one test onto the next. My efforts were centered on empowering our customers with sophisticated web apps to simulate complex user journeys and interactions, offering a more comprehensive testing framework for their APIs and front-end applications.

Throughout my tenure at Datadog, my contributions have been driven by a passion for innovation and connecting with customers and the supportive Datadog culture. The shift from an intern contributing to UI enhancements to a product manager developing critical testing infrastructure was a fantastic experience. I'm glad I could do this with amazing people in two amazing cities.
